Dave invents the Tunisian Mussel Pot

now re-invented by Em - The Mahe Mussel Pot

"I love eating mussels and I have always wanted to own decent mussel pots that would not burn the table when hot and yet still provide the authentic rustic feel of eating from the pots they were cooked in. I saw these rice cake steamers and suddenly thought of a complementary two piece wood set that solves all the problems of relaxed eating and carefree shell storage. And...no need for table mats!"  Dave

My friends at the wood shop turned these amazingly high quality teak sets.

I christened it the Tunisian Mussel Pot because it is too rustic to be French and I think it has good marketing potential. Recently, Emma re-designed it and now we've decided to call it the Mahe Mussel Pot after a small French colony town in Karnataka.
