This is an Island about 4 km off the cost of Karnataka just near the Goa border. Luckily not many people know about it yet. It is not very busy and has had very few non-Indian visitors. There is an abundance of natural food including oysters, mussels, lots of various fish. Also coconuts etc.
It is a nature reserve but mainly due to the fact it's been uninhabited.

Despite the owner's emphatic assertion
that there are no snakes we have seen a small snake that looked scary and
poisonous. Also, Colin had to run away from a rather large Rock Python.
There are some very interesting spiders but a real abundance of amazing
butterflies and birds of prey (e.g. Sea Eagle). Also a giant blue and green
bee with blue eyes (see pic above right). There are dolphins and flying fish
always visible off the beaches.
