Introduction (updated 8 June, 2003)

We are living in Mangalore, we used to live in an apartment in the south central part of the city in an area called Atavar.  We moved in June to the north of the city to an area called Kadri Kambala. named after the local buffalo racing called Kambala.    

We go off at weekends to the beaches, islands, plantations and hill stations.  During the days in Mangalore we do holiday sort of stuff and Dave does about three hours computer work a day. We do sports like swimming, yoga, Indian aerobics (like aquarobics on land) and badminton. Emma is learning Indian style cooking (like making flakey chapatis).

Other things include shopping, rickshaw racing, learning French, major knitting projects (Emma), computer training (Emma, AUTOCAD), having clothes made, playing with our cat, Hooli, overseeing our new scooter business. having barbecues. And of course the usual things like curries, going to the trance music bar, strong beer, cinema etc.
